I respect a man who stabs me in the heart with a knife, than a man who is cowardly and has to stab me in the back. I pity him.

So while everybody keeps on yelling and screaming about the oh-so-poor Iraqis who in this case were apparently in a "detained" status at the Abu Gharib Prison and refusing to cooperate with coalition authorities about the continued terrorism perpetrated onto American/Britsh and 25 other countries participating, there is no talk about...

* The execution and murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in Pakistan.

* The execution and murder of four American humanitarian workers in Iraq, and how their bodies were strung up on the side of a bridge as Iraqis men, women and children chanted and danced around them in glee.

The time has come for President Bush to take control of the situation and attempt to bring former General Norman Schwarzkopf back in a leadership role. And it is time for him to stop being so apologetic. to these savages. Did the Arabs/Muslims blubber on and express their contrition for these deaths, and the deaths of 700 other Americans?

I frankly am getting so sick and tired of everyone in the government and the Iraqis whining about the prison abuse at the Abu Gharib Prison in Bagdhad. Why aren't Americans talking and showing the same level of repulse for prison rape and assaults in the United States...that it has gotten so bad that the U.S. Government has had to legislate from the floor of Congress a plan to address this little spoken of travesty that has gone on for years and years and years?

The Iraqis THEMSELVES and the Arab/Muslim world have NEVER had any basic human rights in prison.

Human Rights Watch Testimony

Video documentation of the problem

If the so-called "liberals" in this country are so concerned about human compassion and human rights, why are they not addressing this problem than their oh-so-tiresome trashing of the President?

Teresa Heinz Kerry Nearly Had Abortion

"In the interview, Heinz Kerry, 65, also said she won't release her personal income tax records because she doesn't have the right to share her sons' records with the public. Some of their records are commingled with hers, she said, adding that she is working on separating the records so she can release her own tax information. "

Liberal Democrats accuse Republicans of every aggregious and nefarious plot (just short of black helicopters). I guess in this case it is "Do as I say, but don't do as I do."

I'm getting increasingly worried about the future of our country....the Republicrats are truly in country...special interests line their own pockets, but never mind about the little people who don't have their pockets lined. The way I look at it whether it George Bush or John Kerry...they are the same person (except that John Kerry has a lot more money).
Everyday now Americans are being subjected to the pictures of the alleged abuse of Iraqis at the Abu Gharib prison in Iraq. President Bush goes on Arab TV crying big elephant tears and expressing regret over the situation, as does the new Army general do his blubbering in front of TV cameras.

My question is this....when are the IRAQIS GOING TO APOLOGIZE for......1) Killing numerous American and coalition soldiers with car bombs, etc.
2) Killing and torturing four Americans on a humanitarian mission to their God-forgotten country.
3) Not speaking up and turning in the Iraqi Muslim extremists who are perpetrating the continued havoc and chaos?
4) Not starting to try to help themselves?

Wars are not won by blubbering. They are won by showing who is boss and dropping a few bombs to build future parking lots.

I frankly don't understand what the big la-dee-da over Howard Stern is... While I guess he is a ratings winner, there is really no place for his 13-year-old style potty jokes on the public airwaves....ratings or not. If he wants to be on the air, he either reworks his show or go on pay radio. Simple as that.

He has continuously pushed, pushed, pushed the envelope with his brand of entertainment, and finally he hit a road block as far as he can go.

I don't consider myself to be holier-than-thou or to be pure as the driven snow, but there is nothing bad or wrong about a little decorum. Howard Stern with his grossness is NOT excellence in broadcasting.

Iraq War Veteran Criticizes Bush on Radio

"'Despite many challenges, life for the Iraqi people is a world away from the cruelty and corruption of Saddam's regime' and 'we will finish our work,' Bush said. "

Maybe it's more like we're going to finish off Iraq?

I get very upset and frustratedwhen I hear people act on dogmatic politics and principles (left or right) and downright plain platitudes, etc. Sometimes they just repeat whatever soundbites generated in the mass media are repeated enough times till they are numb in the brain.

In reference to Shrub and Big Shrub (in reference to Sen. Kerry's big bad hair), a friend just said to me tonight...

"They're just doing what the party's are telling them, which is lie as much as you can, tell the people what they think they want to hear and big business can keep on gouging!"

There is intelligence left, by golly! Hallelujah!

Wooo--wooo----Ben Affleck...what a business heavyhitter...

Sheesh...the last person in the world who would understand the economics of a higher minimum wage going to lobby legislators in Washington? Sheesh... A fifth-rate actor who just got lucky and I want him to influence the biggest collection of dolts on God's green earth? Come-on....

Ben Affleck lobbies lawmakers to raise US minimum wage
WASHINGTON (AFP) - He is one of Hollywood's best-compensated actors, but matinee idol Ben Affleck (news) came to the US Congress Thursday to lobby for higher pay for some of America's lowest-paid workers.

Affleck, who earns millions per screen appearance, appeared alongside Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy to urge lawmakers to increase the federal minimum wage from its current five dollars and 15 cents per hour to seven dollars per hour.
A Massachusetts native, Affleck said Kennedy tapped him to appear at the news conference to bring more visibility to the cause.

'Maybe the senator saw my move 'Gigli' and assumed I would soon be working for minimum wage myself,' Affleck said, indulging in a bit of self-ridicule over the widely-panned film in which he co-starred with ex-fiancee Jennifer Lopez. "
My support of President Bush is at best, tepid. But one thing for sure is that I'm tired of hearing John Kerry continuosly bitch like an old woman about President Bush. What's the point? I want to hear candidate Kerry about HOW HE IS GOING TO SOLVE unemployment, HOW HE IS GOING TO go beyond a cyclical economy....not personal attacks. The same goes for President Bush towards John Kerry. The key to winning an election is talking about YOUR VISION, and HOW YOUR ARE GOING TO ACHIEVE that vision. John Kerry needs to stop giving publicity to President Bush and start to speak about HIMSELF.

What if the economy tanks during a Kerry administration? Will the loyal opposition be able to return the personal attacks? So far I'm hearing a lot of promises, and very little substance. We need candidates of substance, not more candidates who just blow a lot of hot air very hard.

Kerry's jabs at Bush grow more personal

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Senator John F. Kerry, whose attacks on President Bush this week have becoming increasingly personal in tone, told voters yesterday that the Iraq occupation was faltering because of Bush's own ''pride' and that the president was afraid to ''look the people in the eye who have lost their job.'"

Islamic courts get foothold in Canada

Toronto, ON, Apr. 28 (UPI) -- Muslims in the Canadian province of Ontario can soon turn to settling disputes in their own courts, known as sharia, the Washington post reported.
Muslim promoters of sharia arbitration said no cases have yet been decided but the process is set. Islamic leaders created an Islamic Court of Civil Justice last fall and it has chosen arbitrators who have undergone training in sharia and Canadian civil law.
'People can agree to resolve disputes any way acceptable,' said Brendan Crawley, a spokesman for the Ontario Attorney General's office said in an interview. He said the arbitration act has a number of safeguards, including the requirement that parties enter into arbitration only on a voluntary basis, and any decisions by arbitrators are subject to court ratification."
And this is a respected member of a party that wants to rule and considers themselves so honorable....

Give me "dumb" anyday over this!

Lautenberg calls Cheney 'lead chickenhawk' in criticizing Kerry

WASHINGTON -- Tossing a verbal egg at Dick Cheney's military record, Sen. Frank Lautenberg blasted the vice president Wednesday as the 'lead chickenhawk,' who squawks about John Kerry's Vietnam War record despite never serving himself.

'The chickenhawk has no idea what it means to have the courage to put your life at risk to defend this nation,' Lautenberg said on the Senate floor. 'But they are quick to disparage those who did sacrifice.'

In his speech, Lautenberg, D-N.J., defined chickenhawk 'as having the shriek of a hawk but the backbone of a chicken.'

'We know who the chickenhawks are,' he said. 'They talk tough on national defense and military issues and cast aspersions on others, but when it was their turn to serve, they were AWOL from courage.'

Kerry has said that President Bush and Cheney have no credibility in criticizing his military service and anti-war effort since Bush has faced questions about his National Guard attendance and Cheney had five student and marriage deferments of service during the war.

Kerry, a decorated Navy veteran who volunteered to serve in Vietnam, said he does not begrudge anyone who did not fight in the war. "
The Village Voice, a very liberal New York City newspaper ran an editorial written by one James Ridgeway about Sen. John Kerry with the headline, "John Kerry Has To Go: Note to Democrats: it's not too late to draft someone—anyone—else."

I couldn't voice my growing disgust with John Kerry any better.... (I used to support him!)

WASHINGTON, D.C.— With the air gushing out of John Kerry's balloon, it may be only a matter of time until political insiders in Washington face the dread reality that the junior senator from Massachusetts doesn't have what it takes to win and has got to go. As arrogant and out of it as the Democratic political establishment is, even these pols know the party's got to have someone to run against George Bush. They can't exactly expect the president to self-destruct into thin air.

With growing issues over his wealth (which makes fellow plutocrat Bush seem a charity case by comparison), the miasma over his medals and ribbons (or ribbons and medals), his uninspiring record in the Senate (yes war, no war), and wishy-washy efforts to mimic Bill Clinton's triangulation gimmickry (the protractor factor), Kerry sinks day by day. The pros all know that the candidate who starts each morning by having to explain himself is a goner.

What to do? Look for the Dem biggies, whoever they are these days, to sit down with the rich and arrogant presumptive nominee and try to persuade him to take a hike. Then they can return to business as usual—resurrecting John Edwards, who is still hanging around, or staging an open convention in Boston, or both.

If things proceed as they are, the dim-bulb Dem leaders are going to be very sorry they screwed Howard Dean.

Ah yes...the ancient religion of Islam has a very credible new spokesman...GERMAINE JACKSON!

Ugh....

MANAMA, Bahrain (Reuters) - Pop star Michael Jackson's brother, Jermaine, in the Gulf to promote understanding between Muslims and his fellow Americans, said Tuesday that Muslims are "the new Negroes in America." Jermaine, a convert to Islam and dressed in white Arab garb, has been speaking about Islam and U.S. "adventures" in Iraq to enthusiastic audiences at Koranic centers and universities in the Gulf Arab state of Bahrain. "I think Muslims have become the new Negroes in America. They are being mistreated at airports, by the Immigration -- everywhere," he said. Jermaine, also a singer, told Reuters in an interview: "I do not agree with the U.S. government. What they are saying about Muslims and Arabs is all propaganda and brainwashing." "I don't think it is right for us to go to someone else's country and tell them what to do and how to do it," said Jermaine, who is a guest of the royal court in the pro-Western kingdom, which hosts the U.S. Navy's Fifth Fleet. He disapproved of Muslim extremism, which has been on the rise in the wake of the U.S. occupation of Iraq last year. "I understand their feelings but do not approve of their methods. Islam is a religion of peace. They are wrong," he said.

Can you imagine...a washed up one-hit pony making these pronouncements? I guess blowing up police stations, oppressing women is a good thing for good ol' Jermaine. And I guess killing 3000 Americans is OK too....

I swear...the Jackson family is quickly going to be branded the "Munster" family along with the Osborne (Ozzy and company) -- America's own 21st century "Addams Family."

MIAMI - Democrat John Kerry on Sunday accused President Bush of being "stunningly ineffective" at foreign policy and stuck by his argument that the war against terrorism isn't primarily a military struggle.

Kerry, in a wide-ranging interview on NBC's "Meet the Press," also stood by his promise to create 10 million jobs and halve the deficit in his first term if elected, though he conceded that soaring red ink could squeeze some proposals.

The Massachusetts senator and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee pressed his argument that Bush, the Republican incumbent, went about the Iraq war in a way that has left the United States and its troops shouldering too much of the burden. He said he would build an international alliance to share the responsibility for rebuilding Iraq.

Blab...blab...blab....
Blab...blab...blab....
Blab...blab...blab....

I can see that the Presidential race is going to be between "dumb" and "dumber."...with the honor going back and forth between Pres. Bush and Sen. Kerry.

And so how is Sen. Kerry going to create 10 million jobs when American companies are now more and more outsourcing their customer service and manufacturing work? And I guess that 37 countries now being a part of the coalition in Iraq is not an international alliance.

Kerry wants to bring the "U.S. back into the United Nations." What in the hell has the UN done except be a bloated bureaucracy that can't even agree on how to tie a shoe lace. Everybody likes to gloat about the United Nations and talk-the-nicey-talk how important of an organization it is in order to preserve world peace.... I guess we're not going to talk about the slaughter of white farmers in Zimbabwe, "disappearing" children in Brazil (actually being shot and killed by the police), the increasingly faster destruction of the rainforests in the Amazon region, the list goes on. And what about the continued slavery of women and children in Africa? What about the sexual mutilation of women in Africa which runs rampant in the 21st century? The League of Nations watched with its finger up its collective nose as the Soviet Union gobbled up the Baltic States and engaged in the genocide of the Baltic peoples during World War II. The United Nations is no different.

The time has come for the US to GET OUT of the UN and pass back the tax savings back to the American workers who are continually having to skimp and sacrifice to pay their taxes just to be wasted and wasted.

At the beginning of his campaign I was a major supporter of Sen. Kerry. Now I see he is just another tax-and-spend Democrat who will say whatever to whatever crowd might be listening to him. I also understand why they call politics the world's second oldest profession....not far away from the world's oldest profession...prostitution!

Yahoo! News - Front Page

I am now supporting wholeheartedly President Bush after seeing the press conference tonight. I have not heard ANYTHING of substance from Sen. Kerrey...and believe me I have really sought it out... Only thing Kerrey can do it BITCH, BITCH, BITCH.... That's not substantive.

Let me use the analogy of a President/CEO of a major corporation...and the citizens of the US are the stockholders. We have a choice every four years to elect a new President/CEO. As a stockholder I want to know when considering a new President/CEO....

• What will he do differently?
• What is his vision? How will he achieve that vision?
• How much is that vision going to cost?

I'm neither a Republican or Democrat, but through everything else, all I know is that we have to stay the course. Personally, I want us to drop the BIGGEST, LOUDEST bomb on Iraq to send a message to the inhabitants that we as a country aren't going to take any crap. We lost 3000 citizens...unlike any other country in the world....just because of the fanatical Muslims and their fantasies of an all-Muslim world....where NOBODY has rights...

It's all very nice to be diplomatic...Neville Chamberlain was "very diplomatic" and a result ended up with the blood of six million Jews on his hands. Then you have Mr. Know-It-All so smart former peanut farmer Jimmy Carter with his anti-semitic anti-Israel statements, complaining that the US is supporting the State of Isreal to much...and not on the side of a "balanced" peace process. What in the hell have the Palestinians done to deserve independence with their suicide bombers...and Palestinians bearing children so they can be future suicide bombers on behalf of Hamas? As far as I'm concerned, Palestine needs to DESERVE Palestinians and prove to the world that they are not a bunch of numb-skull rock throwing lemmings following a policy of hate and terrorism.

President Bush has made mistakes....like any other President/CEO of a major corporation. If Sen. Kerrey is elected, do I have the right to be so blindly rabid when things don't look so bright?

Tuesday, April 13, 2004

This is the ONLY way to deal with these creeps...and show who is boss...just as the US showed who is boss in World War II. Unfortunately for these people, force majeur is the only way they will understand that their ways are not acceptable, and should show Iran NOT to meddle in the affairs of other countries.

I really want to hear if Sen. Kerry has the mettle beyond the reputation of the Democrats in handling issues of national security. These were not the words of Ivars...but of DEMOCRATIC New York City mayor, Ed Koch....who has endorsed President Bush.

(AP) "As a tenuous cease-fire held in the Sunni city of Fallujah, a radical Shiite cleric was on the retreat Monday, pulling his militiamen out of parts of the holy city of Najaf in hopes of averting a U.S. assault. Still, a U.S. commander said the American mission remained to 'kill or capture' the cleric, Muqtada al-Sadr. "

AN OPEN LETTER TO EDWARD E. WHITACRE, JR., CEO OF SBC COMMUNICATIONS.

From: ibezdechi@sbcglobal.net
Subject: PLANETFEEDBACK REFERENCE NUMBER 2150066
/OUTSOURCING OF SBC NEW MEDIA CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Dear Mr. Whitacre,

The world thrives on communication today, which is why I'm so upset with the customer service at SBC Communications Inc., a situation that's very frustrating. Quite honestly, I'm annoyed with this issue. Just for the record, here's my telephone information: (619) XXX-XXXX.

I attempted to communicate a problem with my SBC DSL service to the appropriate customer phone number. When I was connected I immediately realized that he call was being outsourced overseas to which seemed to be India. The person answering the phone didn't understand me, nor could I understand him with his very thick accent and very awkward verbal rhythm. For the amount of money which I'm paying for my DSL service, I should be able to communicate with American customer service technicians who have a clear understanding of my service trouble, and who have the verbal means to effectively communicate with me. (This all started when my DSL connection is interuppted everytime a call comes in on that line.)

I've been rather satisfied with my DSL service in the past and the excellent customer service provided by Americans employed by SBC without foreign accents. But given the nature of this problem, I'll probably take my business elsewhere from now on if I'm able to get better broadband Internet service with another company. Here in San Diego, SBC is not the only broadband Internet provider and I guess you realize that with all of your constant television advertising. And as someone who is often asked about my experience with different companies and services as an opinion leader, I'll probably tell other people about my negative experience so they can avoid it in the future.

Here's what I'd like to see happen: First, and foremost, you owe your subscribers way better customer service with individuals who truly care and are capable of clear communication and not gibberish. If you are going to degrade the level of customer service, you should then reduce the price of the DSL service.

Ethically, outsourcing customer service to other countries and putting Americans out of work is wrong. Of course, in this day of ENRON and other corporate scandals of gargantuan size, American business and ethics have become oxymorons.

I hope you get back to me soon. In this age of modern communication, seemingly simple things should not go unresolved. I know I won't bring down SBC Communications with my opinion, but I am posting this communication on my personal website's "blog" ("Evarhz Says") at www.ivarsonline.com

That's a good one...a statement from a country that STILL refuses to recognize the sovereignty of the independent democratic republics of Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania after 12 years of independence....and continues to threaten and bully the Baltics.

Can we say a very loud, collective, "SHUT UP and MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!"

And of course, good ol' peanut brain Jimmy Carter (the most inept President of the 20th century) wants us to nuzzle up to these international criminals. As for you, President Carter, go back to building your houses for poor people...and be sure not to hit your finger with a hammer.

RosBusinessConsulting - News Online: "RBC, 09.04.2004, Moscow 18:56:12.Russia calls for ceasing fighting in Iraq, Russian Foreign Ministry declared in its published release. We should prevent an imminent humanitarian catastrophe in Iraq and further escalation of violence. Many people died in recent fighting. The humanitarian situation has substantially worsened.
According to Resolution 1483, adopted by the UN Security Council, the US-led occupation forces should comply with international humanitarian law, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported. "
