I just got hit in the head tonight with the biggest reason why I cannot take the Democratic party seriously, although I agree with a lot of their views...

The reason is why I feel so out of touch with the Democratic Party is because it has been taken over by the idle liberal rich...Barbra Streisand, John Kerry, Michael Moore, etc. They are no better than the idle conservative rich... None of these people will ever understand the common man...so how can they hope to be the alternative to the corporate driven America they think they speak for... Can you imagine Babs cruising down to her local VONS store and using a VONS Club card to save a dollar on frozen pizza.... These people have so profited from American business....yet are so part of an elite class....no different from conservative Republicans who are in the same economic league. They yell and scream how bad outsourcing is and how so many people don't have access to affordable health care, yet after the election they are silent...

These people say that they "feel our pain," but do they really?

I need to be convinced.
